ADD: How Do I Find a Life Coach?
Tellman Knudson
People with ADD often run into roadblocks in life that they find hard to overcome by themselves. These stumbling blocks could arise in the areas of career, finance, or personal relationships. When things get out of control in those areas, it's very hard to get back to basics and turn your life around. You may need another person to guide you, and that's when you ask, "How do I find a life coach?" . . . keep reading

ADD: You Can Be Mother (or Father) Nature
by Tellman Knudson
I ran into a statistic the other day that amazed me. Did you know that more than 67 million people in the U. S. are into gardening? I mean, we're talking people who just like to go out and plant things, not professional landscapers. Then, I began to wonder how many of them had ADD. Even then, it occurred to me that people with ADD might shy away from something they'd like to do because they feel their ADD will step in and help their gardens to fail. But here's the thing: You can plan your garden with ADD in mind, and do the thing you love. There's no reason to avoid it! . . . keep reading

Adult ADD: Half-Baked Ideas and ADD
by Tellman and Stephanie
Let's talk about hinting at things or only telling part of the story. If you have ADD and someone only tells you part of the story, does it drive you nuts? This even comes down to when someone buys a present for you and it's a secret. If they say, "I just got you a present and I'm going to give it to you for your birthday," don't you hate that? Do you bug them and bug them, until they tell them what it is. . . . keep reading

Adult ADD: The Outer Limits and How to Eliminate Boredom (Part 2)
by Tellman and Stephanie
We have definite ideas about ADD and the place for people in the world who have it. We think they're lucky! They're generally intelligent, creative, and dynamic. But ADD does present certain limitations. Our thoughts on that go like this: People with ADD think so fast and move so fast that a lot of people can't understand us. We're a minority of the population. The majority of the population has such a step-by-step, linear-thinking approach, and what is exciting to a person like that is so slow and the exact opposite for us. . . . keep reading

Adult ADHD: Why Sensory Stimulation is the Secret
by Tellman and Stephanie
In my last article I told about a kid with ADHD symptoms who I was working with in my practice. I taught him to connect his love of hockey with doing science homework, which he was currently getting F's in because he was bored. He used hockey cards and posters and music to do this and he ended up getting A's in Science as a result. . . . keep reading

Help for ADD Clutter Bugs
Jennifer Koretsky
Clutter builds up easily for many ADDers. Sometimes, we get distracted and just place a paper or an object wherever it's convenient. Other times we find that, despite our best efforts, we just don't know where to put something, so we put it anywhere. Other times, we just don't care what goes where and why, and we shun the idea of "organization." . . . keep reading

"The information I have received has helped me to get focused and stay focused I have been able to complete projects and be a better listener."
"I'm fairly new to the program, but so far my whole outlook on life has changed. With my new knowledge from Stephanie and Tellman I have been able to release a lifetime of painful shame, almost instantly. That was such a big relief, it felt like an anvil had been lifted off me. Years and years of mentally beating myself, needlessly, has also been released. I now feel open to
acquiring new "programs" for my brain. I am so excited about being a part of this and I am looking forward to more, major, personal change in the days ahead. I can't thank you guys enough for the freedoms and life changing events I have experienced thus far. Keep up the great work!
Diane Cote'
"To Tellman and Steph, Thanks for gathering all these great resources together in one place. Being a 46 year old
single custodial parent grad student with ADD/ADHD combined form and my two kids of 4 and 6 are ADD/ADHD
combined form as well which makes for an interesting house at times let me tell you. It gets pretty stressful around here at times.
By having all the info in one place I am able to get to it an hour here an hour there without having to search for it which would just get me sidetracked and onto something else. Believe me that very thing has made it hard to get my thesis finished. Some of the info here I am starting to see the results of just here in the house so far with keeping all three of us on track a bit better.
It is also good to see that it is possible for me to make it as an entrepenuer. Not only for myself but for my kids as well. Thanks,
Kevin Newman
